Decoupage Trays by Jaanhvi Hinduja

Bonjour Buddies!

Winters have almost set in and isn’t the cold weather crept up on us and it feels like we’ve had to dust off jumpers and jackets overnight? Fortunately there are plenty of things you can do to get your home ready for a cozy Winter – and I’m here with some gorgeous shabby chic style home accessories, that will help you beat off the cold, dreary months in style.

Winter mornings call for something relaxed. Perhaps in bed before the day warms up. What can be better than hot coffee or tea served in a warm shabby chic tray?

So let’s get started to create some old cottage style accents, which are trending in a big way this season!
‌Bob n betty’s Soo Shabby and Coral Cluster range of papers are perfect to achieve the country style, soft pastel floral decor.  I began with choosing the prints of my choice and then painting the trays with a base colour. This is the colour that you want the cracks and the worn out parts to show through. After the base coat dried completely, i applied the clear crackle medium unevenly around the edges. This coat again needs to dry for about 30 minutes. Next, I chose the final colour and painted the whole tray with it and left it to dry over night. As the paint dries, the crack appears. Then, I sanded off edges and to give it a rustic, worn out look. Finally, decoupaged the base,

did some shabby script stenciling and sealed the tray with varnish. Further, I rolled some jute twine around the grips to complete the rustic look.

‌So, how did you like it? Try it out with patience and do share your projects with all of us!

‌Till then,
‌Happy winters!

A Mini Album made with Woodies Paper Pack, by Juhi Khanna

Hello Crafty Fellas,

Juhi here  with a new project featuring one of Bob n Betty’s latest releases “WOODIES”

From the moment I set my eyes on the gorgeous Woodies Paper Collection I wanted to make a scrapbook featuring them! Now, I am not much of a scrapbooker, in fact I hardly ever make any scrapbook layouts. So I decided to make a minimal scrapbook album, I let the beautiful patterned papers do all the work. I did not add any 3D embellishments as I did not want to make the album bulky and also because I wanted the focus to be on the papers. Frankly, the papers are so beautiful no embellishments are needed!

I will walk you through how I made this cute mini album, it’s was extremely easy to put together. I started with a pre-made blank scrapbook album measuring approx. 7”x7”, Bob n Betty Woodies 12”x12” patterned paper collection, a few embellishments, and of course photographs!

I started with cutting the 12”x12” patterned paper sheets slightly smaller than the album’s pages and stuck them on both sides of the scrapbook’s pages including the front and back covers.

I then stuck the photos, mostly pasting 1 photo per page as I wanted the patterned paper to show through. I used photo corners to stick the photos.

After sticking all the photos I added on a few appropriate pre-printed journaling cards. Let’s have a closer look.

I finally decorated the cover with some die-cuts and my super cute scrapbook photo album is ready!

Not only is the Woodies collection great for your scrapbooking projects, it’s also awesome as a photo backdrop for your finished craft projects 🙂

Hope you all enjoyed going through this mini album.

So guys, here you go, I have made this ‘Shining Star’ layout using the Woodies collection from Bob n Betty. These are extremely beautiful papers, with vibrant flowers on the wooden textured backdrop. Take a look…

I have used a 12/12 wooden shadow box for this layout & my daughter’s picture here which was clicked on her second birthday 🙂

The frame was painted in black using acrylic paints, and then decorated using 4 papers from the collection. Few flowers and leaves are fussy cut from the papers itself, and few are the mulberries from my stash.

3D Decoupage Wall Clock made with Blazing Bunches Paper Pack, by Anita Kejriwal

Hello Friends,

Anita here with another project made with Bob n Betty’s “Blazing Bunches” paper collection.

This time I have created with Wall Clock, using this mesmerizing collection. Memories become a treasure with Time. Time has wonderful ways of showing us what really matters and the memories that we cherish become priceless with time. So here I am with this beautiful project using the 3D decoupage technique on a Wall Time Piece. I have layers of flowers fussy cut from the paper pack itself, with wood graining in the centre to highlight the beauty of the flowers that are strewn throughout the paper collection.

Here are some close pictures of the Time Piece.

Hope you all loved this creation.
