A Perfect Planner made with Woodies Paper Collection, by Roshni Gupta

Happy Monday Creative Friends…

Roshni here with my new DT post which is just perfect to begin this beautiful New Year.

I picked up an empty planner and revamped it with Bob n Betty’s Woodies Paper Line. Trust me you can make a planner with Bob n Betty papers as good as the readymade planners you get in the market.

Here I have kept the theme as black gold and floral 🙂 I have also used tags and envelopes from Bob n Betty’s Amor Mio, Ornate Annie, and Floral Nymphs collection…. and they all go so well together that you can easily mix and use the paper packs in all most all of your creations.

So, Let’s begin the tour of this beautiful planner.

An Old Typewriter, Upcycled by Roshni Gupta with Decoupage Specialty Papers

Hello everyone ,

Roshni here with an awesome project to share with you all. When I think of decoupage I look for the old and ignored objects lying at my home to give them a new life completely. So I had this typewriter at home, that I planned to decoupage and turn it into a beautiful piece of art.

For this project I have used Bob n Betty’s “Vintage Wheels” decoupage specialty papers, and they have gone sooo well with the theme. These papers are quite easy to work with as they are so thin yet sturdy that makes it easy to fold them in almost any shape, hence the risk of damaging your project is almost zero…..they are a must buy for newbies.

For my project, I first decided which paper I wanted to use on which part of the typewriter and then I traced that part and cut the paper accordingly. Once the cutting was done I simply started applying mod podge and sticking the paper alongside. Once the glue dried, I filed the edges using sand paper and applied a coat of vanish over it.

There comes the most interesting stage….I embellished it with flowers , micro beads, mica flakes etc. .. and my completely new yet vintage typewriter was ready … it not only looks good but is completely functional too 🙂

Though it was difficult to fit the typewriter in the frame I have tried my best and have filmed this video showing the transformation. I hope you all like it….

A Flip-Tip Mini Album by Niharika Gupta

Hello Friends,

Niharika here with a small yet elegant project today. Its a mini album, & i would love to call it “Flip-Tip Mini Album” … why ? You will know that soon.. (*wink) !

Let me tell you about the papers I have used here… This mini album is made with the Angels of Eden collection by Bob n Betty, and nothing would have suited this album’s style more than these papers.

Angels encourage us by guiding onto a path that will lead to Happiness & Hope. How does it feel to know that you have an angel in your life? Won’t you want to make her feel how much she means to you? This collection gives you exactly what you need, with a beautiful combination of pictures of pretty females, floral backdrop, & vintage shades of colors, its just a complete package.

This mini album measures 6/4 inches, has three pages, & each page flips into a pop-up card. I have used few flowers, charms & beads on the cover from my stash, and i have embellished the pages with some fussy cut flowers and tags. As it is a mini album, I have left most of the space for pictures, and for the papers to be visible, they look beautiful just like that.  I hope you like & enjoy it..edit-1

A 3D Princess Carriage designed by Tanya Cloete, with Coral Cluster Paper Collection

Hello Scrappy Friends,

Tanya here with a 3D Princess Carriage using the beautiful Bob n Betty’s Coral Cluster Collection!

I have made one of these before and I must say it is by far the most fun 3D project I have ever made. It takes a while to assemble but once you get the hang of it, it all falls into place. The steps/instructions to make this is quite easy. This was cut using the Silhouette Cameo, here are the links as per the cutting file you can follow to cut your own. The pony team is a separate cutting file from the princess carriage itself.

I have added cute little suitcases on top of the roof and have decorated the carriage with lots of flowers, leaves, flat back pearls, birds and butterflies. I have also used a Julie Nutting Doll Stamp (Rita) and added her to the fairytale scene as well, here are some closeups….
