“Mrs. Santa’s Winter House” designed by Aleksandra Mihelic, using Cottage Blush

Hi dear crafty friends,

It’s Aleksandra from Papermade Fairytale with you today again. Have you ever thought about our dear Santa having a wife? Well I did! When I was little girl, I was sure that there is Mrs. Santa. Because as far as I was concerned, it was always my mom buying all the gifts for us. So I thought Santa also had to have a wife so that she prepared all the gifts for him to take them to kids. Well you know what… If there would be Mrs. Santa I’m sure she would live exactly in a house like this one – surounded by gorgeous frozen flowers, covered with snow. Because where things are Magical, also flowers can bloom in a snow! And to design this beautiful house, i’ve used Bob n Betty’s Cottage Blush Paper Collection.

Hope you’ll like my project. 🙂 Thank you for stopping by and have a gorgeous day! See you soon!

Hugs, Aleksandra

Mini Album by Niharika Gupta, designed with Cottage Blush

Hi Friends,
Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, making mistakes & having fun !! Isn’t it ? I am here today to share my inspiration post for you all, made with my very favorite ” Cottage Blush” collection by Bob n Betty.
I see so many beautiful creations in our group with these pretty papers, with such mesmerizing flowers, and wooden prints… i really cant stop thinking about the endless possibilities with this paper…
Now, after creating a few things with this paper pack, i was left with a few small cut papers which i really didn’t want to go waste…so lets have a look, where my imagination took me …

I made this mini album with very few left over pieces of pattern papers and the tag sheet. The album measures 4″ by 6″ with 4 pages inside. I have used Kraft card stock to go with it… You will see a lot of tags, flowers and elements cut from the papers for the decorations … I think the flowers there are so rich & bright, to give any page a real boost…   i just love the way the album turned out..
I really hope you like this mini album… do leave your comments below, will love to hear from you…

Thanks and Love,

Mixed Media Layout by Riddhi Jani, using Bare Essentials Paper Pack

Hello everyone ,

I hope you are enjoying the ongoing wedding season,

I made my layout on this theme only. Marriage is a thousand little things, and I love to capture the beautiful memories of them. This time I’m making a Guestbook and not album. So the blessed couple can capture their blessings into it with their photos.

This layout is designed with Bob n Betty’s “Bare Essentials “ paper collection and as the name suggests, this undoubtedly is a necessity for any crafter. It comes in 18 different watercolor backgrounds, with 18 variety patterns. Isn’t it an awesome deal..?

And trust me this paper pack is a perfect choice for any kind of project, be it birthday, anniversary, love, baby, friendship etc…

They are a must have.

Here bare some steps you can follow to recreate this layout:

  1. Take 3 different Papers from the pack.
  2. Cut them with the help of Paper cutter. Layout size is 10”6.5 so I’m cutting the paper 1 inches bigger then the chipboard size. Fix it on the bob n Betty chipboard with using tacky tape or liquid glue.
  3. Take 2nd Paper and cut it 0.5 inches smaller then the layout size.
  4. Fussy cut the desired Paper design, which u can see in green colour on my layout.
  5. Arrange the layout with the photo and mark the space for photo.
  6. Add embellishments and chipboards of your choice
  7. Sprinkle some black liquid gesso for a lil messy effect on background.

And it’s done .

Its just a sneek peek of the acual project. I shall be back soon with the complete project.

3D Bicycle designed by Tanya Cloete, using Cottage Blush

Hello Bob n Betty Buddies,

Tanya here with an OTP project, a cute Bicycle with basket using the STUNNING Cottage Blush Collection! I always think of bicycles when it comes to vintage paper and this project was a perfect fit!

  1. Silhouette: Design ID #141806 – Bike Box by Daniela Moscone
  • Cut a 3d Bicycle from the Silhouette using some of the sheets from the collection for the basket. Cut the bicycle itself from Kraft cardstock and stain with distress stain vintage photo. Assemble accordingly.
  • I had the wheels laser cut from wood to make it more stable. These were sprayed with gloss white spray.
  • Cut 2 bows from the collection as well and assemble accordingly.
  1. Cut some leaves, flowers, butterflies and hearts from the collection using dies.
  2. Add lace around the basket and hessian on the inside.
  3. Fussy cut one of the tags (Believe in your Dreams).
  4. Arrange the rest of your embellishments as per the picture or as you like.
  5. All done!

Hope you like this as much as I enjoyed making it!

Happy Papercrafting!

“The lone wolf dies, but the pack survives” mixed media canvas designed by Aleksandra Mihelic, using various collections

Hi dear crafty friends,

It’s Aleksandra from Papermade Fairytale with you today again. Have you tried out the gorgeous Bare Essentials papers yet? They are absolutely perfect for mixed media layouts. There was one particular set of papers in this gorgeous collctions that I just fell in love right away. So I decided to use it for the background of my today’s mixed media canvas. I’ve also added a woodgrain paper from Cottage Blush collection on top of it and used some Decoupage papers from Morning Glory collection behind my photo. They are not supposed to be used like this, but they fitted perfectly so why not right? Mixed media is all about experimenting. Hope you’ll like my project and I hope that it inspires you in a way!

Mixed Media Layout by Riddhi Jani, using Cottage Blush

Hello everyone,

Riddhi here with a dreamy layout today
I have a strong belief in dreams and fairies so I dedicated this project to them.

So here is the layout I designed with Bob n Betty’s most beautiful paper line “Cottage Blush”. And if you still don’t have this paper pack in your stash, trust me you are missing out the best collection.

Here are the steps I followed, if at all you decide to create something similar to this please make alterations wherever you feel like.

1 – I took one of my favourite papers from “Cottage Blush ” and applied prima marketing clear gesso on the paper to secure it.

2 – Then adhered the paper on cardstock and further on chipboard using soft Matte gel, u can use any adhesive which is liquid and strong enough to bind.

3 – I choose space where I want to arrange my photo and then I mark it with pencil.

4 – After that I applied Yellow Hero arts dauber as the base colour. And made little background with Twisted citron and Peacock feathers (shades of distress oxides )

5 – Then used some fussy cut flowers from “Optima ” and “Cottage Blush” paper packs by Bob n Betty for adding some details to the background of the photograph

6 – Decorated it with some flowers, pearls and some enamel dots. Arranged some laces on the background of photo for more interesting look.

7 – After that used some stamps for the details on the layout.

8 – And there you are.. it’s done

I will look forward for your opinion and suggestions.

Scrapbook Page Layout by Bipasha K, using #LoveSpell

Hello wonderful people!

This is Bipasha and I’m back with with a brand new video tutorial using the love themed paper line by Bob n Betty called “loveSpell”. I absolutely love this range and created a love theme layout. I decided to go with the scribbled textured patterned papers in contrasting black and offwhite.
I trimmed off the off white pattern paper around 2 inches from all the sides. I intended to distress the edges of the smaller pattern paper and try some messy stitching effects holding together a couple of laces of different materials. I coloured my chipboards using antique linen and picket fence distress crayons and completed the layout with tons of embellishments from my stash.
Hope the creation inspires you!

Enjoy the tutorial here….

Hello  Buddies,

Tanya here with a Mixed Media Canvas using the beautiful Decoupage Specialty Papers and Premium Textured Chipboard by Bob n Betty. I’ve decided to go with a Steampunk theme. Here are the basic steps to follow:

  1. Cut the textured chipboard to make an 8×8 size canvas.
  2. Cut the decoupage papers to fit the 8×8 canvas/chipboard. Apply with clear gesso and give another coat of clear gesso on top. Leave to dry.
  3. Randomly stamp some brick images on the canvas and then add crackle texture paste using a stencil.
  4. Randomly spray some gold mists on the canvas and leave to dry.
  5. Randomly add some rub on elements.
  6. Add the metal corners.
  7. Paint the various chipboard elements with black gesso, build your composition and adhere with gloss gel. Leave to dry.
  8. Start applying some different colour waxes to the chipboard composition.
  9. Emboss the chipboard piece (DOCUMENTED) with Ranger Embossing Powder.
  10. Arrange the rest of your embellishments (metal, sequins, string) as per the picture or as you like.
  11. All done!

Here are some close ups…

Hope you like this as much as I enjoyed making it!

Happy Papercrafting!
