Special Occasion Cards made with “Floral Nymphs” Paper Collection

Hello Everyone,

Forget the past, look forward to the future, for the best things are yet to come. Indeed it is true. Life is full of special and memorable occasions signifying the milestone you have achieved in life. The special occasions in life give you a reason to celebrate and enjoy. Birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, success are the special days in one’s life which truly deserves the best of celebrations. How about blending celebrations with creativity? As my first project for Bob n Betty, I decided to make special occasion cards. The handmade card gives an emotional touch highlighting the sentiments attached to it. This encouraged me to design some special occasion cards with the recently launched paper pack “Floral Nymphs”.

TA007

This paper pack is loaded with beautiful roses and the fairies set in the delicate floral backdrop inspired me to create these wonderful cards. When I saw the paper collection with fussy cut elements, I just knew I have to create a project that includes many layers. The 4×6 journaling cards included in the collection just made me more convicted to create some cards. Who wouldn’t need some gorgeous cards for their special occasions?
I bet whoever has upcoming birthdays and special accomplishments wouldn’t want to wait till they receive these cards.

TA001

TA002

I matted card bases with 6×6 cutouts from the paper collections. I, then, went on to embellish the cards with some flowers from my stash and elements that were fussy cut-off from the paper collection. The bright and contrast color flowers and butterflies are just perfect for layering and adding more sensation to the project.

I hope you too like final outcome. These cards can be used for all the occasions. So try them at home creating memories with someone special.

I was really happy to see these papers and they have become my favorite.

Today, I will be featuring a paper that will be a treat for those who love scrapbooking, especially baby books. The paper collection Baby Bliss is a pack of 36 papers and there are 12 patterns with 3 sheets of each. The best part is one paper pad includes prints for both baby boy and baby girl and the prints are soothing in colors with a feel of shabby chic vintage theme. Not only this, there are three sheets of labels and tags with which you can add decoration to your album or even create your own embellishment.

A Gorgeous Card made with “Floral Nymphs” Paper Collection

Hello Fellas,

Joanna here with my first DT project for Bob n Betty and no wonder I am super excited to be a part of this team.

Friends, remember our childhood days…when we used to design greeting cards for our parents, friends and loved ones. My golden childhood memories ignited the crafter within me and I decided to create a beautiful card as my first project for Bob n Betty. The recently launched pattern paper from Bob n Betty, Floral Nymphs is the perfect choice to make these cards. The pattern paper comprises of mesmerizing fairies drawn on the floral backdrop.

JS001

To start my project, I applied stencils on the background using white gesso. After that, I starting cutting different shapes of paper with notes & roses and added metallic red card stock under them. They are all adhered with the thick foam tape to create more 3D look. In the front, I placed sentiment cutouts from the paper pack itself, adding doilies right under to give more dimensional look to the card.

JS002

I designed two roses using twine, ribbons and lot of different leaves and placed them at the right corner of the card.

JS004

I loved the gorgeous fairy in this paper pack and I added it at the left corner.

JS003

In the end I used lots of red pearl dots around the square. At the left corner, I placed two bigger pearls and more flowers with small leaves around.

JS005

I loved the final outcome and hope you too enjoyed it.

So make this card for someone special adding more jewels to your memories.

With love
Joanna

Greeting Cards made with “Floral Nymphs” Paper Collection

Hello Fellas,

Sometimes it is not an expensive gift that makes a difference but it is the love and efforts you put in to make the other person realize how special they are in your life. Giving a handmade birthday card, marriage anniversary card or any other special occasion card is indeed the cutest way to show your love and affection. It gives a personal touch creating an everlasting and memorable impression. Therefore, for this month’s project I decided to make cards with pattern papers, giving my creativity a new dimension.

I simply love paper crafts and enjoy making scrapbooks, mini albums, exploding boxes. Without a doubt, card making is my first love and will always be. However, I have never used pattern papers on my cards, since my style and art is minimalistic with the stamping being the major focus. But when I received my July months’ DT kit, I was totally mesmerized with the compilation of the latest release “Floral Nymphs” from Bob n Betty. So, I decided to some greeting cards with these papers for this month’s project. The papers were gorgeous enough to give me a push out of my comfort zone and create some beautiful, vintage looking greeting cards.

I have made a set of 4 A5 cards getting inspired from the dreamy and magical appearance of this collection which is perfect for delicate and feminine project. The cards are super easy to put together as the pattern paper did all the hard work.

I distressed the edges of the layers to create an aged, vintage look.

A Mini Baby Record Book made with “Cuddling Cuties” Paper Pack

“The little feet make the biggest footprints in our heart”. Little babies are blessing of God and perhaps the cutest visuals ever. I have always witnessed babies smile while they are asleep. Do you know why? It is because they could hear the angels whispering to them. This thought took me to a dreamland and my imagination had no boundaries thereafter. Every moment from their first step to their first word must be captured as they are the most beautiful memories of life.

My imagination got wings when I received my latest DT kit from Bob n Betty, the gorgeous collection of baby girl theme pattern papers “Cuddling Cuties”. I finally ended up making baby record book owing to my obsession for scrapbooks. But isn’t it the best way to preserve the boundless memories of life? These papers are super cute and gel very well together.
