Mini Album by Niharika Gupta, featuring the project made during FB live class

Hello Everyone,

Finally bringing the long awaited pictures of the complete album I made during the Facebook Live Class.
I didn’t add many things offline, just a bit here and there, which i will try to explain here and also i will try to mention the product names of a few things which I used and most people wanted to know their proper names.
Firstly, the adhesive that I used is the runner tape from Scrapbook Adhesives. It comes in variety, you can choose the type of adhesive you like (available at Crafters Corner)
The Embossing ball tool i used is from Dress my craft, medium size (available at Crafters Corner)
The Album is Kraft Memory Hardware Gatefold Journal from Prima Marketing, size 6.5″ X 6.25″
The Lock that I have used is Photo Frame Tied metal hook on the left flap (available at Madras Bazaar) with Tim Holtz clasp on right.
The Window is Memory Hardware Wood Shutters from Prima Marketing again.
Chipboard cutouts that I ended up using were from Scrapiniec and Dusty Attic sentiment chipboards.
I hope i have mentioned about the products most people were inquisitive to know. If still you have some doubt, or any question, please feel free to drop in a message in my inbox.
So the first thing i did after the class was to add my closure lock to the album. You can see how I attached the two pieces with a big bronze round brad in the pictures below. I liked the idea of my wooden window peeing from the center, so i didn’t mind the gap there and let the cover fall a little open at the middle. Added a few charms to the lock chain too.
Secondly, I added few more embellishments near the wooden window with a few splatters of white Gesso and gray chalk paint using my brush.
I ended up adding some splatters to the inside pages as well.
On the spine of the album, i added my favorite jute ribbon, it gives a wonderful texture to the spine.
I hope you enjoyed going through the pictures. Do drop in your comments to tell me what would you like to learn in the next live class with me.
Have an amazing, creative, and colorful week.
Love, Niharika.

MDF Set of Drawers – Decoupaged by Deepal Shah, feat. Roseate Paper Collection

Hello creative friends,

Deepal Shah here and am really excited to share my debut post as design team member for Bob n Betty. I am really honored and proud to be associated with this brand.

Today I am sharing with you all, the project I made with beautiful Bob n Betty Decoupage specialty paper collection Roseate.

First I sanded the two-drawer box well and applied gesso all over it. On the top base of the box I painted with acrylic colors so as to match with the background of the papers to be used on drawers and sides. Here I have used only one paper from the set.

Then I have pasted the paper cuts on front and sides with decoupage glue, carefully pressing and removing bubbles. Once it was dried I again applied decoupage glue on top of papers and let it dry. Once dried I applied Decoupage Varnish on the whole box.. even on the painted areas.

Lastly I added lace and miniatures on top of the box according to theme. This drawer box is multipurpose, can be used for storing keys, jewelry or precious mementos.

I had fun creating with these papers which already have too many elements added in one single paper making things easier for beginners also. Do try them and share your projects with us.

Happy crafting!!!
