A Handmade Calendar by Sampada Srivastava, feat. Roseate Paper Collection

Hi everyone..

This is Sampada with probably my last post for this year and to give a kick start to the coming year and to help get you guys fully prepared to take on 2019, I have this beautiful and very handy calendar which is made using Roseate Collection.

So to mention again, Roseate has 12 overwhelmingly amazing papers with little shabby yet floral designs and also you get motif sheet and lots of fussy cutting elements in the paper pack. Every time I use this collection, I get so carried away and end up using lots of fussy cut elements in this calendar as well. Trust me…each element is so beautiful in itself that it’s very hard to make choices.

So coming on to my project, this is a wall hanging calendar which has two sections, the first one is embellished with flowers adding to it some fussy cut elements frames etc giving it 3d look and the second part is having the months’ sheet on it.

Surely many of us use electronic calendars these days in our phones and find it very convenient with the click of few keys. But nothing beats the beauty of a handmade calendar. You can hang it in your craft room, gift it to your friends and family and I am sure they are going to love it…A perfect gift for this New Year.

I have made two sections in this wall hanging calendar but you can add one more as per your convenience and you can put pictures on that and change it with every passing month.

Now to make it handier I have made the month sheet magnetic and it is up to you how you want to store it. You can watch the video of how to change the months and how you can overlap all the months together and change each passing month sheet with the next coming month.

I would love to hear from you all and signing off by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!

So, go on and try this beautiful collection and show your creativity. You can share your creative projects on Bob n Betty Buddies page on facebook.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs

Explosion Box Card by Niharika Gupta, feat. Roseate Paper Collection

Hi everyone,

I am back here today with my newest creation and probably the last post of this year. This place is totally filled with inspirations. You must have observed that in my last few projects. And here is one more inspired from the surroundings here.
Its winter, and not a only a season, its a celebration! People light up their houses, decorate it for Christmas, with snow on the roofs, and on the little plants, sides of the road, lights make everything feel so warm! It seems to be a different magical world all together.
This Explosion Box Card made with the very beautiful Roseate collection, seems to capture the beauty completely. I tried to emblematise a house on a cold winter evening here, all set up for celebrations.
Cutting the smallest flowers and leaves from the paper pack was so much fun!
Don’t forget to catch up on the small video in the end to see the beauty of the flickering light in the house. It can be turned on or off from the outside of the box card.
Just loved making it.  Its for someone here to save her Christmas memories… Awww, I am waiting to know from her how she likes it. Till then, i would love to hear from you how you liked it. Have a great winter and an amazing holiday season! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!
Love, Niharika.

A Lampshade decoupaged by Niharika Gupta, feat. Roseate DecoPatch Papers

Hi friends,

It has been a long time since I came here with a post. A break somehow turned into in lengthy absence. And now that I have started to bring my focus back, I will come up with some interesting posts in the coming days.

Well, I feel you can never go wrong when you think about designing something for your own home. To give a quick recharge to my energy, I tried to experiment on something I had never tried before – Decoupage. I always struggle to think on something which is not a “Scrapbook”, but trying hands on this amazing  paper from Bob n Betty was super fun. I had this plain white Lampshade at home and I used the beautiful floral arrangements from the Roseate Decopatch collection.

These papers give an amazingly smooth finish without much effort. I really liked the outcome and now this little thing brightens my room in the most elegant way.

Much thanks for stopping by.

Love, Niharika.
