A Wall Decor Corset, designed by Tanya Cloete with Woodies paper pack

Hello Scrappy Friends,

Tanya here with a décor piece project, a wall hanging corset using the stunning Woodies Collection! This collection has such a shabby chic feel to it and is one of my favourites 🙂

This is quite a large corset that I cut and placed on a laser cut wooden hanger. I prefer the wooden hanger to ensure that it does not tear/break as the load of embellishments on the corset itself would be too heavy. I try to pay attention to detail and thus like adding lots of goodies to my projects. The cute little stilettos are actually Christmas tree ornaments that I painted and decorated.

I have also made some paper roses from the collection to match. I normally cut my own sizes to make the roses. Remember to always cut 3 of each of the same size. Mine are various sizes so you can choose how big or small you want yours to be. Should you wish to make your own you can follow this link…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skuSJcYNC3E

A Love theme Mini Album with interactive pages, designed by Ayushi Aggarwal

Hey Everyone,

Ayushi here with my latest project with Bob n Betty’s new paper line “No one but you”. This pack is a must have for all your love theme craft projects. It comes with beautifully illustrated retro couples, florals, word strips and journaling cards.

I totally enjoyed fussy cutting all those elements and also added some pop up elements in my album, some of them are interactive while others are only topped with foam tapes. I have also converted some journaling cards into 360-degree rotatable elements.

This is a picture heavy post, so grab a cup of coffee while you discover the nittygritties of this album.
Lets begin…..

A Gift Box with Mini Album, designed by Jaanhvi Hinduja

Hello beauties!

Wish you all a very happy Valentines Day! Isn’t just this date give you an adrenalin rush? Well! It does take me back to my dating days and whether I celebrate or not after being married for so many years, the day does give me a high!

I am quite late,  I know! for sharing some inspiration. Nevertheless, better late than never! And after all love must be celebrated everyday, what do you say?
Bits of paper, lying on the floor.. Makes the room untidy, pick them up! Oh no! No! I haven’t started out my son’s rhyming lesson here:).  My today’s project is with the bits of papers that I saved from my valentine customised projects. I have been in so love with the latest Bob n Betty collections that I didn’t have the heart to throw the little pieces.
I’ve made a small gift box with a mini picture album in it. Supplies used are very basic – MDF box,  acrylic paint, glue, bobnbetty papers, flowers,  twines and cardstock.

The paper stack is so complete that I didn’t use any embellishment from my stash.  The fussy cut elements, the frame sheet,  the sentiment sheet,  provide you just everything that is needed to complete a project. And this is what makes me say that the papers are more versatile than gorgeous!
Do have a look at the pictures and feel free to comment for any detail that you might require (in case you do get inspired:)).

I am talking about the beautiful papers newly launched by Bob n Betty… I just love them all… and for this “Treasure Box Album” I have used Bob n Betty’s “No One But You” 12/12 inches paper pack.
Love is just Love, it cannot be explained… but yes, it can be expressed. What is better than collecting all your sweet memories, and putting them together in a treasure box ? With this… they are going to stay alive forever !
This paper pack has beautiful pictures of retro couples on such colorful & floral backgrounds. The wordstrip sheet and elements sheet is sure to die for…it is a complete package to design beautiful love theme projects… I just loved designing each part of this album, come lets take a look…
ngtb01
For the cover I did not have to use any extra flowers, I just had to fussy cut this one from the elements sheet… n I was done..I used it from both the sheets to add an extra layer to give it a 3d effect. The vintage colors gel so well with my metal embellishments…
ngtb02
The inside pages are embellished using few elements from the papers itself and few printed messages.  As I wanted more space for the pictures, I left the beautiful papers to show, and if required i will be adding few tags and wordstrips from the elements sheets itself while adding the pictures.
Now lets take a closer look of the inside pages…..

A Love Theme Shadow Box designed by Roshni Gupta

Hello everyone, Roshni here and today I am working with Bob n Betty’s  Valentine special release “NO ONE BUT YOU” paper pack

I simply loved this paper pack and is one of my favourite packs… it has so many elements that can be fussy cut and used so I decided to make a shadow box frame … here is a step by step tutorial for this frame –

First I had fussy cut a few elements from the paper pack that I thought would fit perfectly with the shadow box

rgsb01

Then I chose to work with this MDF shadow box layered frame –

rgsb02

I also took some Chipboard cuttings that would fit within the small frame and which were appropriate for the project

rgsb03

Then I used the 3D outliner and added dots

rgsb04

Then I painted the whole frame with white acrylic paint

rgsb06

I also painted the chipboard cuttings and added glitter over them

rgsb07

Then I used the pink pattern paper from the pack and cut rectangles to be added to the background

rgsb08

rgsb09

Then I took another pattern paper to paste on the base

rgsb10

And then stuck both the layers of MDF frame together and stared working on each frames and decorated them with the elements that I had fussy cut

rgsb11

rgsb12

Using the distressing tool I distressed the edges of the coupon and stuck that as well

rgsb13

rgsb14

rgsb15

I also used glossy accent on some embellishments to give them a dimensional look.

rgsb18

then added these flowers on the back of the journaling cards to give some interest

rgsb20

here is a closer look for each frame

Paper Jewellery by Pratyusha MV, with Coral Cluster Paper Pack

Heya Friends!!

Pratyusha here with another DT project. Well, this time I’ve created a pair of earrings using the coral cluster paper pack and Red Bull cans!!!

The earrings are lightweight and look elegant.

A small walk through of the steps.

1) I selected a pattern paper of my choice from the Coral Cluster collection. Using my Martha Stewart punch, I punched out the butterflies multiple times.

2) I used the butterfly punch to punch out butterflies from the red bull can as well.

3) Seal the pattern paper butterflies with varnish and let dry.

4) Sandwich one red bull can butterfly (big) punch out between 2 pattern paper butterflies (big) and punch holes in the opposite side of the wings. Take 1 small pattern paper and 1 small red bull can butterfly and shape them accordingly and glue it to the bigger butterflies in the center!!!

prer03

5) Once assembled, put in jump rings to connect the butterflies as shown in the pic and add in the findings.

prer02

In the similar manner you can make curtain strings or wind chimes too 🙂

Hope you enjoy the project and try it out.

Much Love
Pratyusha

A Handmade Calendar designed by Jaanhvi Hinduja

Hello my lovelies!
So,  how’s the new year treating you? Well! Let me begin my first DT project of the year with what better than a desk calendar! I’ve made two of these with the 6″/6″ sheets from the gorgeous ‘Coral Cluster’  and ‘Floral Nymph’ collections. Don’t they come so handy for such mini projects?
I’ve used very basic supplies for these – 4 pieces of  6″/6″ MDF boards, calendar print-outs (you could use the stamps too,  but i wanted to make many of these so I printed),  some lacy and doilies die-cuts, card stock, scrapbooking rings and some metal charms,  flower, sequins,  etc. for finishing.
jhc01
To begin with,  I chose the prints of my choice and covered the MDF boards from both sides and punched holes. I decorated the cover board by layering the fussy cut flowers and a quote cut-out for one and shaker element and flower for the other.
jhc03
jhc02
I like to create additional utilities for my projects, so, on the reverse side of the cover i created a pocket with tag/bookmark for one calendar and a sticky note with pen for the other.
jhc04
jhc06
jhc05
Next, i completed the other boards by putting some lacy and doilies die-cuts. Finally, i bound the calenders together with scrapbooking rings and finished by hanging some metal charms.
And the multi – purpose desk calenders are ready! So,  what do you think of them? They make great new year gifts – I’m going to make quite a few of these and gift my friends 🙂
Wish you a crafty year ahead!
Love
Jaanhvi
