“Little Princess” Baby Girl Scrapbook by Priyanka Singh Feat. Munchkin Paper Collection

There is nothing quite as exciting as waiting for the arrival of a new born baby. As soon as the baby is arrives, once world is filled with happiness and love and a truly undefined motherly feeling…which can not be expressed in as many words one try….

Kuddos to all my crafty friends,

Here I am back on Bob n Betty blogspot with another amazing inspiration for you all with the newly launched paper collections “Munchkin”…

This time its a memory album for a baby girl “Little Princess”……As you all know this paper collection can be used for both baby girl as well as baby boy….I went ahead to create an inspiration with baby girl theme…This is how my cover page looks…with little arrangement of flowers to coordinate with florals within the collection itself…..

Here’s the hinge of the album with some metal charms and bells…. to adorn the whole layout…I am just loving everything about it….

Let’s quickly have a sneak peek inside the album…..

So talking about the inside pages…. I have tried my own way of doing just the photo mats and some cute layering with all those fuzzy cut elements within the pack along with flowers…and lots of sequins…around…

The very first page begins with welcoming the baby into this world…and that certificate of birth from the pack is just so hassle free to have it already…

The whole album covers all months from 0-12 as first birthday…as well as pull out pages for other milestones….this becomes an adorable way to make a memory book for your new born baby and look back at those memories anytime…

Here’s how the complete album comes out with all tags and cover page….

Hope you all enjoyed reading about inspiration project, will be back soon with some more amazing inspirations for u all to try and get inspired….

“Adorable Baby Boy: Mixed Media Layout” by Priyanka Singh, Feat. Munchkin Paper Collection

Here I am with my very first inspiration for you all! The wonderful munchkin paper collection with such gorgeous prints made me very excited to do a mixed media scrapbook layout using the paper. It’s not just the scrapbooking u can do with the papers but can surely try out making gorgeous layouts.

Here’s my layout, creating a whole world around the baby boy, when it’s all about running after him, keeping him involved with something to play and read….This complete collection offers tons of fussy cutting elements to add to you projects. I went ahead to choose some of them….adding to this layout.

To begin I have taken one of the light blue pattern paper from the collection and base coat with clear gesso to make my inks stay on it….further went ahead to some stencilling and inking to background.

And placing all the elements around the baby picture finishing with the sentiment from the collection itself.

To add some more to the look went ahead to sprinkling some micro beads here and there…

Some close up pictures :

Hope u enjoyed reading about my very first project here, do leave your comments for me to know your thoughts…any queries are most welcome.

Valentine’s Cards by Niharika Gupta, feat. Caffe Romanza paper collection

Hi everyone!

I am sure you are all in your best creative spree with projects for Valentine’s day as it’s just around the corner! I would really love to see what you are making… specially if you are making it with this beautiful paper collection, Caffe Romanza!

Love comes in all shapes and sizes and colors! Isn’t it? It felt so amazing to work on love theme cards, in a completely unique color combination like this! To start with I decided to make two cards as an inspiration with these papers. After getting all soaked up in snow the other day, I wasn’t keeping very well, but the idea of making these cards cheered me up, and I love that they were super quick to make.

The cards measure 4.5” by 8” and I have used an off-white cardstock for the base. I have cut some elements from the paper pack to layer them with chipboards from Fabrika Decoru. A glittery pale yellow paper flower from Prima Marketing just added the oomph it needed. I love all the sentiments in the element sheet, but these two just caught me!

I hope you will like it.

As its snowing here, this week is being celebrated as “SportsLove” week and we have holidays in schools to enjoy the winter sports. So I am going to have an amazing Valentine week, hope you have one too!
Much thanks for stopping by!

Love, Niharika.

A Handmade Calendar by Sampada Srivastava, feat. Roseate Paper Collection

Hi everyone..

This is Sampada with probably my last post for this year and to give a kick start to the coming year and to help get you guys fully prepared to take on 2019, I have this beautiful and very handy calendar which is made using Roseate Collection.

So to mention again, Roseate has 12 overwhelmingly amazing papers with little shabby yet floral designs and also you get motif sheet and lots of fussy cutting elements in the paper pack. Every time I use this collection, I get so carried away and end up using lots of fussy cut elements in this calendar as well. Trust me…each element is so beautiful in itself that it’s very hard to make choices.

So coming on to my project, this is a wall hanging calendar which has two sections, the first one is embellished with flowers adding to it some fussy cut elements frames etc giving it 3d look and the second part is having the months’ sheet on it.

Surely many of us use electronic calendars these days in our phones and find it very convenient with the click of few keys. But nothing beats the beauty of a handmade calendar. You can hang it in your craft room, gift it to your friends and family and I am sure they are going to love it…A perfect gift for this New Year.

I have made two sections in this wall hanging calendar but you can add one more as per your convenience and you can put pictures on that and change it with every passing month.

Now to make it handier I have made the month sheet magnetic and it is up to you how you want to store it. You can watch the video of how to change the months and how you can overlap all the months together and change each passing month sheet with the next coming month.

I would love to hear from you all and signing off by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!

So, go on and try this beautiful collection and show your creativity. You can share your creative projects on Bob n Betty Buddies page on facebook.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs

3. Add paint splatters randomly over the page.
4. Cut a few die cut shapes from the collection sheets and decoupage papers to form the layering of the composition.

A Scrapbook designed by Riddhi Jani, feat. Roseate paper collection

Hello guys,

Here I’m back with a new project for Bob n Betty. This time I made a scrapbook with the most beautiful paper collection of Bob n Betty “Roseste”, it is a simple scrapbook but there is something special in it. I have designed an envelope on the last page and along with the journaling cards it carries some heart shaped tags as inserts, which will grow in to a plant. Isn’t it beautiful to see your sentiments and wishes growing up into a plant to be cherished forever.

Measurements of the album is 8”8 inches and it can hold up to 60 pictures and thousands of memories with the growing plant.

I hope you all like this concept.

Hugs
Riddhi

Altered Cookie Can designed by Tanvi Shah featuring Cottage Blush Paper Collection

Hello, this is Tanvi again with my inspiration for the day.

For my project today the inspiration was the “Cottage Blush” collection so floral & so shabby.

cottage-blush-1140x6591

I worked my way to making a flip album using these gorgeous papers,  half way through & I realized it looked very similar to the wallet mini I made earlier! So while that incomplete project sits on my table an alternative 3D project came to life & am so glad it did! That’s the story of the altered cookie can I share today.

Here are some close ups of the cannister –

Flowers & charms from my stash added much to the shabby look –

You n I Cards : Video Tutorial by Niharika Gupta

Hi Everyone,
A warm welcome to the Bob n Betty blog. I hope the weekend gave you enough sparkle to make the rest of the week shine.

My post today, is inspired by all card makers here. I usually don’t make cards, but I sure wanted to try hands on making simple cards after seeing the beautiful elements of this paper collection. Apparently, every new paper release by Bob n Betty becomes my new favorite, but I am totally addicted to this particular paper pack You n I.
And guess what, I decided to make a tutorial for you all. Yes, its my first video tutorial and I hope it will inspire you to experiment more with this collection. There are so many unique and interesting elements in there, that you won’t need many extra embellishments to decorate your cards. Let me show you a few pictures first.

I have 3 cards here and tutorial for two of these. My apologies, but after finishing the third card, I realised that my camera got switched off half way through. But don’t worry, let me compensate it with a little crafty tip, yaay!
Crafty Tip:  If you have been in a situation when you opened your glue bottle, or acrylic paint, or chalk paint bottle, and after few days, it is hard to open them, because the lid has got jammed? Well, I have been there many times, and I ended up cutting the bottles, or piercing a hole and then covering with a tape, and what not. But you can simply avoid it with this simple hack. Next time, when you open such a bottle, just apply a bit of Vaseline to the lid before closing it (just a little would do). And trust me, you will never find yourself stuck again.

As you all know, Bob n Betty’s 3rd birthday celebrations have begun, and there are some very interesting gifts to be won. So don’t miss this amazing chance. You can check the complete post here : https://www.facebook.com/bobnbettyindia/posts/2016361245280940
There are many more contests to be announced. So guys, gear up and play along !
Without taking more time, you can now enjoy the videos.

Here are some close up pictures for you….

I shall look forward to see you soon with my next post.

Love
Niharika.
