Faux Resin Pour Decoupage Frames by Ujjwal Gupta, feat. Dirty Pour Speciality Papers

Hey there, this is Ujjwal and today I have a brand new project to share with you. I am using the newly released Dirty Pour Decoupage Speciality Papers. These papers are inspired by the trending acrylic/resin pour paintings which are everywhere on the internet these days. I love that you can get the same pour painting feel without all the paints and the pouring by just using these papers and a top coat of resin.

I wanted the quotes to reflect the bold, loud vibes of these frames and chose to hand write these quotes with a brush pen.

The resin really helps to bring out the real pour painting feel to these frames. I love the soft smooth feel of the resin on these frames.

I have a video tutorial on how I created these. The steps are simple and supplies needed are very few and still you get stunning results. Watch the video HERE and create you own masterpieces.

I hope you enjoyed watching the video and if you create something inspired by this, don’t forget to share it with us.

Mini album in Explosion box by Sampada, Feat. Roseate paper Collection

Hello crafty people,

This is Sampada from Scrapmee and today I bring to you this beautiful Explosion box with a mini album within. Bob n Betty has firstly launched double-sided papers in India and it is a beautiful collection indeed. It has 12 overwhelmingly amazing papers with little shabby yet floral designs and also you will get motif sheet and lots of fussy cutting elements. I am obsessed with this gorgeous collection and I am sure you would love it too.

So, apart from albums, envelopes you can make Explosion box with this collection. This collection has 12 double-sided sheets so the best part is we need hardly 3-4 sheets to make an explosion box..you can easily make 2 explosion boxes embellished with beautiful elements in just Rs 475. Isn’t it a good deal?

The best part of explosion boxes is the surprise kept inside. Don’t you think so? it can be anything which fits in that but I tried of making a mini album, which is actually micro mini…but still, you can put small pictures and do journaling on that.

So sit back and enjoy the pictures!

So here is the mini album inside,

Hi folks!
Good Morning 🙂
Preeti Datta (aka Dutt Preety) here. How are you doing ?

Today, I’d like to share a Cute Baby Mixed Media Card. This is a big sized card great for gifting. I’ve used the beautiful and totally adorable papers from Bob n Betty’s earlier collections, “Cuddling Cuties” and “Baby Bliss“. All of Bob n Betty’s paper collections have been brilliantly designed, so, it is very easy to mix and match papers from different collections, go back to the earlier releases and mix them with new ones. Sky is the limit with respect to matching elements and coming up with new combos 🙂

Reverse Decoupage with Crackle effect by Tanvi featuring Decopatch papers

Welcome back friends!

Decoupage offers endless possibilities to up cycle/alter & create unique home decor items. A great way to use clear glass objects is reverse decoupage,  where you decoupage  on the back of the clear glass.

My project for today is a reverse decoupage plate, in which I have combined the crackle effect for added textures.

Ma18061

The vintage motif is from the OLD WORLD CHARM decopatch paper –

old-world-charm

Ma18063

Ma18062

I love the dual accent cracks here – gold & along the edge of the plate a deep rose red to coordinate with the flowers!

Hope you like this plate!

Until my next post…….happy crafting!

Vintage Cards Designed By Preeti Datta Featuring Meadows & Classics Decoupage Specialty Papers

Hi friends 🙂

Preeti Datta (aka Dutt Preety) here. How are you today?

There are only a few days left in the month of April and Bob n Betty will soon be celebrating it’s 3rd Birthday on 28th April, yay!! That’s tomorrow!! Everyone at the Bob n Betty family is very thankful to all it’s patrons & supporters. To celebrate, there is an awesome giveaway & a Mega Contest, to check out all the details & for your chance to win superb prizes, please visit the Bob n Betty Facebook page. Don’t miss this awesome opportunity, there is very little time left to participate 🙂

Today, I’d like to share a set of 2 Layered Vintage Cards I made using Bob n Betty’s beautiful new range of Decoupage Specialty Papers- “Meadows” and “Classics”. I also included a few elements from the “Glam Craft” collection. Both the cards are big sized, 5 by 9 inches. When I saw the pretty butterflies, birds and flowers, I was inspired by the theme of nature, so I added the title “Wild & Free” using alphabet beads, to both the cards.

The new Decoupage Specialty Paper Collections are perfect for vintage themed projects and they coordinate brilliantly with all the previous releases. It is super fun & easy to mix and match elements. The designs are gorgeous and these decoupage papers can be used for all kinds of paper crafting projects including decoupage, cards, scrapbooks, canvases, tags, art journalling etc. I would highly recommend checking out the numerous great examples on the Bob n Betty blog and Instagram page, made by the Design Teams over the years. It really is worth the time.

Process:

Took an 8 by 10 Canvas Board & applied a thick layer of heavy white gesso on it. To create texture in the background, created grooves in the wet gesso with the end of a paint brush & added few mini beads. Once, it was dry, sprayed on colors. For the focal image & titles, fussy cut elements from one of the papers in the Classics Collection, created a nest with sisal, dry hay, colored gauze, feathers and then adhered the owl & titles to it. Also, added flowers, die cuts, wood slices & lace around the nest to form a visually pleasing composition. Then did background stamping with black archival ink and for shine, applied Prima’s Metallique waxes to the background. For additional texture & shine, applied Finnabair’s art stones & glass glitter using 3d Matte Gel to some of the areas.  Then, dry brushed some white gesso onto the flowers and created white ink splatter. In the end, distressed the edges of the canvas with black soot distress ink.
