Paper Pack Collection:

Baby Records with Munchkin from Bob n Betty – 12″ by 12″ Accordion Tag Box

Namaste Guys

When I saw the Munchkin Collection for the first time my first thought was this was the paper I have been looking for the idea I had in my head.

I wanted the perfect paper to create a Record Book for my daughter and this was the collection for it. So I created a 12″ by 12″ Accordion Tag box that holds 12 tags one for each month of my baby’s first year. I also created from scratch two shadow boxes that hold special details about her.

This Shadow box contains all her birth information, the time, date, birth weight and height. And I used lots of decorative elements to create a baby room type effect with miniatures collected by me from my various travels.
This Shadow Box contains her first shoe and her first bunny toy and one of my favourite photos of her. I also incorporated a music box in this box.
I custom made the side link chains and created a super duper chunky charm to compliment the huge size of this project.

Altered Umbrella -Decoupage

Hello Friends

I love to decoupage and I love challenging myself. And I love love love the Tender Flower Decoupage Sheets. For this project I wanted to decoupage a paper umbrella. Its a very flimsy and the paper is delicate, so you have to be very careful with application of water and glue.

I cut the decoupage sheet in the desired size and soaked it in water for an hour. then very very carefully using the pads of my fingers I removed the backing layer of the paper, till i was left with a thin film of the design print.

Then I let all the water drip off without drying the decoupage film, with a thin layer of decoupage glue i decoupaged it to the umbrella. If i would’t have removed the backing paper the umbrella wouldn’t have closed like it should .

The umbrella is very small just 3.5″ in diameter.

While we find ideas what to gift in a baby shower or the first birthday, we also search how we gift those elements and in today’s day and age a gift card is always the go-to for all.

So let’s make a handmade, interactive gift card holder which also gives you a space to write your message, holds picture frames. It’s a three-fold holder with a shadow window

That’s all for today!

Would love to see your comments and love!

Until then happy crafting!

A tall card by DT Gayatri featuring decoupage papers ‘Tender Flowers’

Hello friends,

Today I am sharing a new project using decoupage papers. I have used them to make a tall card. The decoupage paper collection ‘Tender Flowers’ is so beautiful that a shabby chic card was what popped up in my mind! Something different from using them for only decoupage.

I used two patterns from the collection and added a few handmade foamiran flowers, lace, die cuts and a few pearls too.

I tucked in a bow made with twine beneath the flowers.

I layered the inside of the card also with the same base paper I used on the front panel. I fussy cut few flowers and added them in the corners.

Faux Resin Pour Decoupage Frames by Ujjwal Gupta, feat. Dirty Pour Speciality Papers

Hey there, this is Ujjwal and today I have a brand new project to share with you. I am using the newly released Dirty Pour Decoupage Speciality Papers. These papers are inspired by the trending acrylic/resin pour paintings which are everywhere on the internet these days. I love that you can get the same pour painting feel without all the paints and the pouring by just using these papers and a top coat of resin.

I wanted the quotes to reflect the bold, loud vibes of these frames and chose to hand write these quotes with a brush pen.

The resin really helps to bring out the real pour painting feel to these frames. I love the soft smooth feel of the resin on these frames.

I have a video tutorial on how I created these. The steps are simple and supplies needed are very few and still you get stunning results. Watch the video HERE and create you own masterpieces.

I hope you enjoyed watching the video and if you create something inspired by this, don’t forget to share it with us.
