CAS Layouts designed by Roshni Gupta with #LoveSpell Paper Pack

Hello everyone, Roshni here…

Today I want to share with you all, three clean and simple layouts… for these layouts I have used Bob n Betty’s #LoveSpell paper pack. This collection is exceptionally versatile, and comes with some soft pink, beige, white and to break it all…black backgrounds. Though it was released on Valentines but trust me you can use this collection for any theme and occasion. Hence, I tried my hands on some baby boy themed CAS layouts.

I have made a tutorial to define the process…check this out and let me know if you have any queries.

Hope you all liked my work

A Love Theme Shadow Box designed by Roshni Gupta

Hello everyone, Roshni here and today I am working with Bob n Betty’s  Valentine special release “NO ONE BUT YOU” paper pack

I simply loved this paper pack and is one of my favourite packs… it has so many elements that can be fussy cut and used so I decided to make a shadow box frame … here is a step by step tutorial for this frame –

First I had fussy cut a few elements from the paper pack that I thought would fit perfectly with the shadow box

rgsb01

Then I chose to work with this MDF shadow box layered frame –

rgsb02

I also took some Chipboard cuttings that would fit within the small frame and which were appropriate for the project

rgsb03

Then I used the 3D outliner and added dots

rgsb04

Then I painted the whole frame with white acrylic paint

rgsb06

I also painted the chipboard cuttings and added glitter over them

rgsb07

Then I used the pink pattern paper from the pack and cut rectangles to be added to the background

rgsb08

rgsb09

Then I took another pattern paper to paste on the base

rgsb10

And then stuck both the layers of MDF frame together and stared working on each frames and decorated them with the elements that I had fussy cut

rgsb11

rgsb12

Using the distressing tool I distressed the edges of the coupon and stuck that as well

rgsb13

rgsb14

rgsb15

I also used glossy accent on some embellishments to give them a dimensional look.

rgsb18

then added these flowers on the back of the journaling cards to give some interest

here is a closer look for each frame

A Perfect Planner made with Woodies Paper Collection, by Roshni Gupta

Happy Monday Creative Friends…

Roshni here with my new DT post which is just perfect to begin this beautiful New Year.

I picked up an empty planner and revamped it with Bob n Betty’s Woodies Paper Line. Trust me you can make a planner with Bob n Betty papers as good as the readymade planners you get in the market.

Here I have kept the theme as black gold and floral 🙂 I have also used tags and envelopes from Bob n Betty’s Amor Mio, Ornate Annie, and Floral Nymphs collection…. and they all go so well together that you can easily mix and use the paper packs in all most all of your creations.

So, Let’s begin the tour of this beautiful planner.

An Old Typewriter, Upcycled by Roshni Gupta with Decoupage Specialty Papers

Hello everyone ,

Roshni here with an awesome project to share with you all. When I think of decoupage I look for the old and ignored objects lying at my home to give them a new life completely. So I had this typewriter at home, that I planned to decoupage and turn it into a beautiful piece of art.

For this project I have used Bob n Betty’s “Vintage Wheels” decoupage specialty papers, and they have gone sooo well with the theme. These papers are quite easy to work with as they are so thin yet sturdy that makes it easy to fold them in almost any shape, hence the risk of damaging your project is almost zero…..they are a must buy for newbies.

For my project, I first decided which paper I wanted to use on which part of the typewriter and then I traced that part and cut the paper accordingly. Once the cutting was done I simply started applying mod podge and sticking the paper alongside. Once the glue dried, I filed the edges using sand paper and applied a coat of vanish over it.

There comes the most interesting stage….I embellished it with flowers , micro beads, mica flakes etc. .. and my completely new yet vintage typewriter was ready … it not only looks good but is completely functional too 🙂

Though it was difficult to fit the typewriter in the frame I have tried my best and have filmed this video showing the transformation. I hope you all like it….

A Truck loaded with memories, made with Floral Nymphs Paper Collection

Hi Folks,

The longest journey begins with a single step, not with the turn of the ignition key. Indeed life is a journey with lots of beautiful memories hitting our path each day. Some stay by us for times to come and some get dissolved with time. But life does not stop. It moves on at its own pace. This defines the theme of my new project, “a truck loaded with memories”. The truck defines the movement and the album within is a compilation of beautiful moments that life show us.

Giving it the Indian touch, I planned to make a truck/lorry. In India, trucks are used to carry goods all over the places. So, the idea was captured to create a truck that can be filled with memories or some goodies you want to gift someone. Fill them with chocolates and small treats, as I decided to fill it with memories by placing a 6.5×4.5 mini album perfectly.

RG001

RG002

For the project, I used gorgeous collection of pattern papers from Bob n Betty, Floral Nymphs. This collection is a pleasing fusion of floral and vintage backdrop. I simply adore the theme of the papers with mesmerizing graphics on each and every page.

RG003

RG004

RG005

What I liked the most about this collection is that it has three 12×12 sheets with 4 patterns on it which makes it great for making a 6×6 album and it also has six papers with 6×4 patterns on it so you can use them to make a 6×4 mini album just like the one I have made here or make tags for your bigger albums. There are also three co-ordinating pages with elements that can be fussy cut to embellish your work, and these papers are so pretty that I think it does not need any further embellishing… I made this really simple mini album in no time and with almost no embellishments and it yet look so pretty.
