A Decorative Plaque designed by Jaanhvi Hinduja, Feat. Ba-Dastoor DecoPatch Papers

Happy Monday to all of you!
So, are you’ll up for the festive preparations after the lazy weekend? I was all dull and slow till I received the Bob n Betty festive range of papers :). The bright colours and enchanting ethnic elements have got me geared up for some fresh ideas and newer projects.
I am sharing the first project that I’ve made using the DecoPatch range of “Ba – Dastoor” with all of you here. It’s a decorative plaque with the shloka, “Vakratunda Mahakavya.. ” on it. I’m sure most of you would know the relevance of the shloka and it’s importance in most of our homes.
I’ve used the elephant and the flowers motiffs from the DecoPatch sheet. The background has been hand painted. I’ve done some shading and free hand painting of the leaves around the flowers to blend the motiffs with the background. I’ve also done some detailing on the elephant with gold metal leaf. Finally, I’ve laser cut the shloka, painted and stuck on the plaque.
It makes an interesting decor for the entrance or the puja mandir. What do you think? If you like it, and would like to see a video tutorial, leave a comment on the post. I shall make one, if sufficient number of you are interested to learn :).
Till we meet next,
Lots of love
Jaanhvi
